Dr. Hagstette’s passion and love for working with animals and science drew her into the veterinary profession at a young age. Her desire to help people and to enrich the bond that they have with their pets has been her motivation. Dr. Hagstette has held every position in a veterinary hospital starting as a kennel attendant when she was in high school. The scariest position of all was being a receptionist!
Her favorite subject areas in veterinary practice: New puppy and kitten exams, as there are so many things she can share to help the new family! Dentistry because it can make such an impact on the day to day quality of life. Internal Medicine is one of the most challenging areas of veterinary medicine. The puzzle of the dog and cat physiology. Training new veterinarians and sharing her experiences with them and learning new things that are going on in the veterinary universities.
Dr. Hagstette believes in a practical approach to veterinary care. Her team of doctors routinely perform diagnostic testing to confirm medical conditions and treat patients most effectively. They create treatment plans that follow logic and have measurable results.
Dr. Hagstette has a large family and a small farm that keeps her busy every second of every day! Dogs are my favorite animal. Horses are my passion in life.
