Dr. Jessica Hagstette’s passion and love for working with animals and science drew her into the veterinary profession at a young age. Her desire to help people and to enrich the bond that they have with their pets has been her motivation. Dr. Hagstette has held every position in the veterinary hospital from kennel assistant to the medical director.
Her favorite area in veterinary medicine: New puppy and kitten exams, as there are so many things she can share to help the new family to thrive! Her most challenging area in veterinary medicine: Internal medicine - the puzzle of dog and cat physiology..
Dr. Hagstette believes in a practical approach to veterinary care. Her team of doctors routinely perform diagnostic testing to confirm medical conditions and treat patients effectively. “We strive to create treatment plans that follow logic and have measurable results”..
Dr. Hagstette has a large family and a small farm that keeps her busy every second of the day. She enjoys dog sports and horseback riding!

Dr. Pastrana was born and raised on the island of Puerto Rico. Her father’s love for animals played a vital role in Dr. Pastrana’s veterinary career. As a young girl, she tended to all the family’s pets, which ranged from rabbits, turtles, birds, fish, and dogs.
She completed her undergraduate at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus. Dr. Pastrana completed her medical program at Tuskegee University of Veterinary Medicine.
Her interests include internal medicine and surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Pastrana enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisine, and cuddle time with her lovely fur babies Rubi and Ava.

Dr. Kathleen Carroll was born and raised in Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2021.
Her interests include Small Animal Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Soft Tissue Surgery. Hobbies include traveling and trying different cuisines.

During childhood, Dr. Horne was obsessed with her pets and saving all the wildlife in the area. It was at that early age that she knew Veterinary medicine was her passion.
Dr. Horne loves spending time with her dog (Jaxson) and 3 cats (Rosie, Jilly, and Lilly). When she is not caring for animals she loves traveling and enjoying all the different cuisines around the world. Her favorite type of food is Oriental cuisine.
Dr. Horne loves being in the water and may have been a fish in another life; however, her spirit animal is definitely a cat. Dr. Horne enjoys living her dream each and every day by providing the care that dogs and cats need/deserve!
